Typical question followed by a typical answer.. Its ALL in your mind!
You don’t have to suffer, you don’t have to starve in order to keep fit or lose enough weight and become the next top model! You will “almost” change none of your eating habits and yet you will start losing those extra pounds and question your self how you did it!
I guess you can take pills (before your exercise) or whatever product promises you quicker fat burning but you MUST be very cautious and ask for professional advice before you do!

I will just tell you my weight loss story to let you see my ups and downs so you can do even better than I did!

Bare in mind that i am not a writer so my writing is not going to be the best but hey, that’s not the reason your reading this, right?
Also… I’m me! Not a diet expert or an aerobics master… I’m just another guy!
The only difference is that I succeeded on losing weight without any special skills so if I can do it, you can do it!

Two more things:
1. If you want to lose 20 pounds in a week, now its time to stop reading and try to find advice elsewhere because I can’t help you.
2. If you want to lose that weight and never get it back, stick around, ill show you the way I did it and you will be amazed by how easy it was!

I will tell you about all those little silly things I stopped doing and saw almost instant results!
I’m still eating sweets and any kind of food I want but I know when and how to eat them in order to get as less calories as possible..

IMPORTANT: I can’t guarantee that this is going to work for you as it did for me but I advice you to give it a try since it can’t harm you and on top of that, its basically not even a diet! It is a simple way to think before you act.

One last thing just to keep you motivated..
I lost weight and watched the pounds drop off of my waist, hips and belly at the same time that i was quitting smoking! So there you have it.. another myth is busted.. :D

…here is my weight loss story…

My weight loss story

I was not always fat. I almost had six-pack abs when I was younger. I gain extra weight because I simply stopped caring for my self. The reason? It doesn’t matter, i was just not happy.. The result : Gaining extra weight..
I had transformed food into a happiness substitute..

My brain - hey Jim, you want to feel good? Have a chocolate bar!
Me – Yea, that’s right! I’m already feeling better! (for like…15 minutes..)
..An hour passes by.. I’m starting to feel sad again..
My brain - ..hey man, you have a ton of icecream in the fridge, don’t let it get wasted, Have some!
Me – Don’t mind if I do! Again, I start to feel better, but again, for a very small period of time..

…long story short, I kept doing that for a while and before I knew it, I had 20 pounds of extra weight on me!
I was never like that! I never had a problem buttoning my pants! Lacing my shoes? Never an issue!

My brain – Jim, dude, we got a problem!
Me – Oh my God, yes! What am I doing?!? Why am I doing this to my self?!? What can I do to “fix” me?!?
My brain – Relax man, we got this.. Just do what feels right and makes sense and don’t do what feels good for no reason..

That was when I woke up, and don’t be scared, I didn’t start any strict diet (basically no diet at all) nor a heavy workout program.
I’ve just started to think before I act. That was also the time that I’ve decided to quit smoking (I used to smoke over two packs per day).

So, later that day I had a big juicy stake for dinner, with French fries, cheese melting over them and a liter of cola to get everything down. I love this and I am not going to stop eating before everything is empty. That’s what I always do…well, not this time…
I said to my self that I can eat everything I want until I feel full. It all tastes great but ill have to stop when I feel full, not stuffed…
I did it, I stopped eating when I was not hungry any more and you know what? I eat half of what I was usually eating and to my surprise, I was feeling better because a) my stomach didn’t stretch like other times, b) I eat whatever I wanted and as much I really wanted and c) I did something good for my self and it was easy!

Right after that, I was usually having something sweet to eat so I go to my fridge and grab a chocolate bar.
Instantly I think “Hey, I eat something I like and I can still taste it, so why do I have to eat that chocolate bar? Do I really want it or it’s just a habit?”
Yea, I wanted to eat that, but only because I had developed an eating routine!
Ok, so I’ve decided not to eat it, just for this day…
Then, I got sleepy (I always feel sleepy after eating).
I’m heading for my bedroom but then I think again. I once saw a film about the life of a sumo wrestler (you know, those huge fat guys) and I remembered that one of their techniques to gain weight fast was to eat and then go to sleep immediately!
Heh, now wasn’t that silly? I try to lose weight but I’m doing what the “masters” do to gain it!
So I didn’t go to bed…

Well, I was still feeling sleepy so I had to do something to keep me up for some hours…
My “experiment” is about losing weight, so why don’t I do some push-ups and see how it goes?
That’s what I did. 5 push-ups for now, no more…
Hm.. That was easy, so I did 5 crunches too…
More or less, that was my exercise for that day, less than five minutes but my goal was to stay awake and I did! I was not feeling sleepy any more with almost no exercise!
…the hours pass, I go to bed, and I wake up the next morning…
I slept very well because my stomach was not stuffed like other times so I wake up with more energy and feeling much better!
I drink my coffee (sweet as always) and I go to work. I kept in mind that all of the things I did yesterday was good but also very easy so whenever I thought of treats, I think again and leave them. Ok, I might got one small treat until noon :D…
Again I follow the same tactic through the day ending up with the same good result the next moring: Slept nice and woke better…

Earlier I mentioned that I’ve quit smoking at the same time I was doing this “diet”.
That made it a bit harder for me because I had a better appetite (right after the first day I quit smoking) so if you are not a smoker, it will all be easier for you.

I kept on doing that for some days because it was so easy. I had instant results, My body felt good and was feeling better for my self for doing what’s right for me.
Some days I might eat that chocolate bar but in return, I had to exercise some more.
It was not a strict program so I could easily follow it and before I realize it, that was my new daily routine.

The good part is now…
I had forgotten to check how much I weighted because this entire thing didn’t feel like a diet at all!
So I got on that scale and yes! I had lost x pounds! I am not telling you how much because I don’t want to discourage you. Some people lose weight faster than others.
The point is, I lost weight without a diet! I was eating whatever I wanted and as much I wanted. I only had to think what I really want to eat, how much I really want and when should I eat it.
Now that I think of it, yea, I was on a diet, it was called “Thinking”! :D

I am still living that way but now I can look my self in the mirror and be happy with what I see. I keep on doing the “Thinking diet” but now it’s natural. I don’t really have to keep my self from eating more than I should or having more sweets because I just don’t have to!
I like my new me (inside and out) and there is nothing that would make me change that.
It’s been 2 years since I’ve started this. My body weight is normal and yes, I haven’t smoked since then…
Believe me, it’s easy. Just give it a try for one day only!
If you do ok, keep doing it the next day… and the next and the day after that.
Soon you will realize that it was easier than you thought…

I hope I gave you some inspiration and maybe a reason to start and make your life better… :)

Privacy Policy

http://belly-gone.blogspot.com/ takes your privacy seriously.
